And I mean tiny!! Was just reading Is this a new golden age for British cinema? on the Guardian website, when I saw a wee mention of Le Donk (possibly not worth a whole new thread, but I wasn't sure where else to put it ) You need to scroll right down to the bottom, where it says six more British films to look out for. www.guardian.co.uk/film/2009/mar/01/british-cinema-slumdog-millionaireIt's quite a good article, and it also talks about a few other films due for release, but for those who don't feel like reading it: Le Donk
Shane Meadows returns to his guerrilla origins on this short film, improvised over the course of five days in 2007. Regular Meadows collaborator Paddy Considine plays the film's eponymous hero, a roadie for Arctic Monkeys.Told you it was short!!

Nice. Some good stuff, there -- I'm already looking forward to Donk, The Damned United, The Young Victoria, and Dorian Gray; a lot of the other films sound interesting, too.

I didn't mean the film was short, I meant the article was!! Unless you meant the article saying it was a short film, then it's all the Guardian's fault for not checking these things, and has nothing to do with me...
