Just watched the BAFTAS ....well done Shane and everyone involved in This Is England!

Saw Shane caught on camera twice before and during them read the noms, so I suspected it would win; it was great to hear the crowd cheer the film like nothing else too. Well done Shandy and co.  ...and souble congrats on being a dad, Shane. Hope is all goes well for you and the Missus.  |

Yeah congratulations.
I hope you had a fantastic night and went mad with the celebrations it's really deserved.

CONGRATULATIONS!
I got home from work to watch the BAFTAs from 9.30pm... thinking that the Best British Film award must be towards the end.... but no! I only realised that Shane and Mark had won when I saw the highlights on the end credits of the show! For crying out loud.. I missed the acceptance speech!

I missed the speech because I was in the Pub but my brother rang me and I just managed to turn the tele over in time to see the end of it,
well deserved and I'm so happy my favorite film got what it deserved as did my favorite short film!!!! congrats to Paddy aswell!
looks like 'King of the Gypsies' is getting closer and closer to getting the funding it deserves

I think I have worked out a potential source for the Meadows/Herbert double-act accpetance speech! Might not be able to get hold of it for a day or two though.  Oh.. may I just add, This Is England is the first film that Shane puts me in, and it wins the BAFTA! Coincidence? Yes. ;D |
