i can't imagine anything better than delivering a massive cup of fuck off to the teachers who said you'd never amount to anything. i await the day when i can, i'll proper rub it in their faces. mebbe offer to do a talk at the school and rip the teachers. also lasses that finish you as well, must be nothing sweeter like

Regarding this lapsed user business, I was moved to post for the first time in a fair while because of the bafta so what. I thought this was a place for fans of shanes movies which I have been since catching smalltime on c4 years ago. I visit the sight most days and love it, I like many others i'm sure are very genuine, but just prefer not to post if I haven't got that much to say, and as for new members and increased activity on the sight great, that's a good thing is'nt it. I understand that notion of feeling posessive over those things we love but i want as many people as possible to love shanes films, firstly because it would make this dreary multiplex world more colourful, and secondly the more people who see shane's films the easier it will be for him to get funding for new projects so the more films of his we will get to see, come on there is enough of shane to go around

regarding ebay i just put in shanes name on ebay and someone is selling a vauxhall rascal with shane name attached because it was used in the film somers town any obsessive fans looking for a box on wheels are in luck

Shane, Great that you've won a BAFTA, mate. Fucking AWESOME film! Mind you it's expensive attending the awards ceremony £300 per person even if you are a member! Best is I got your film for free. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for your inspiration. We briefly met at Edinburgh Film Festival where you were critcising Paul Webster from Channel 4 in a seminar. I'm an actor/producer and at the time I'd shot a micro budget film called Coldfish and had a hard time with it, thinking about packing it in, but what you said that day gave me drive and persistance. I've now shot 16 films as an actor (check me on imdb) and produced 4. Jake/Paul is genuine, I met him at a HMV signing and he's a really nice bloke. It's the dudes who ask you to sign 10 different photo's without it being made out to anyone that are the naughty stinkweasals!!! You just know them babies are making more money off me than I am off myself  I was well miffed Shane, as I would have really liked to have come along and met you and the crew/got autographs - made out to - "ME!" (well... Neil) - I'd've brought all the DVDs down and the 'Romeo' book also - would've been belting - petrol would not have been a worry, but 'bunking off' work would've caused probs!  Here - also - hope that 'lapsed user' doesn't apply to me... I've been without internet (whinge whinge) but have still been logging in on my break at work from time to time! Back full time now, so yer not getting shut of me! N. P.S. Paranoid? Me? Who said that?!!! |
