One day I was sitting at home eating my broccoli and stilton soup and then Shane rang asking if I could do some animated opening titles to his new film, Le Donk. After I'd regained consciousness I said, Yeah sure why not. Of course. Yup. Yes. I'd love too. It went something like that... Sometime later and I'm doing it. Sketching, drawing, scanning, Photoshopping and animating. Here are a couple of stills of some of what I have done so far... Cheers! Bill.

It's amazing that just from seeing those two stills (combined with the experience of seeing your previous animation) I think I've got a good feel for how it will work already! Very great! There's a new Saul Bass in town!

Thanks everyone! That's right, Ryd! Keep 'em wanting more! Saul Bass! Wow! Cheers Dave. ;D I love Saul Bass's stuff. The animation I'm doing will be closer in feel to the Pink Panther films' opening title sequences. Mad 'n' whacky. And I hope funny too. Fingers crossed! Shane wanted me to go bonkers and I aim to please! ;D This is an incredible opportunity, Jill. Beyond my tiny mind! ;D If OK I might pop a few more stills as I go on. Nothing that'll give anything away of course!

A nice bit of rotation I'm guessing! That's one of the tiny little aspects of your 2009: A Space O.A.P. I really loved. The short shot of the hand rotating the release valve! Smooth!
