Good to hear some news directly from the horse's mouth, so to speak. I haven't been on here for a while 'cause I've been getting all my Meadows news from Dean Rogers(Shane's official onset photographer)on the set of Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll(the biopic of Ian Dury: Andy Serkis playing the lead role)... and yeah, don't know if it's my place to say what I've been told but from what Dean said, Shane's horror film will really break his mould. I'm anticipating it more than anything else!
On another note, I'd just like to say what a fantastic pair of gentlemen Andy Serkis and Ralph Ineson(Chris Finch aka 'Finchy' from The Office)are. Especially the former; completely goes against the stereotypical preconception of a Hollywood film star.

The first part has been co-written by myself and an amazing young writer called Jack Thorn and even if I do say so myself, it reads pretty darn good baby, so fingers crossed, it could be a cracker. Ok, Jack Thorne. Now I've never actually met the guy, but I've been singing his praises left, right and centre in recent times.. He's somewhat of my new hero! I know he wrote a load of skins episodes etc, but the stuff I've read of his has absolutly knocked me out. (Even though I didn;t get cast in it) The Scouting book for boys was such an inspirational beautiful piece of writing, and with Tommo starring in it I can't stress to you enough how much hope I have for that film.. (Timothy Spall's son got the part btw..!) Then 'Cast-Offs', a new channel four series Tommo and myself worked on a couple of months back, written by him too, The Sheer Fuckin' wit and appeal of every line was summet special. I assure he will not dissapoint you people!
