this thread has it all- tragedy,comedy, backstabbing (no pun), bitterness, elation, deflation, hope, hopelessness, confusion, clarity, vulgarity, sexuality,offensiveness,defensiveness... etc. etc. etc. i loved it... and after a month of not visiting, i could not think of a better thread to read upon my return
is shane maybe in the market to make a film about this thread?

anolyntwin, I don't think its interesting enought to warrant a film.
There could be a rebuke as film though titled 'Ingrate Monguls Pushing Cloth In Extremis' with a soundtrack by Val Doonican.

Oh, fair enough. I don't understand this thread from head to toe. I have been reading the Small Time threads a lot because I used to watch that film quite a bit when I had a recording off tv. What is the thread title about 'monguls pushing cloth' (bit un-PC!) referring to? I know you're not in the film, Jo Hartley, even though I thought you were. Anyone know please?

I have no idea what Davros is laughing at, anyway all of my queries about that line I presumed was from Small Time were answered on that film's thread. Thanks to those posters, I got some great responses, cheers.

I reckon it's not even 'bilge' - it's 'bilge light'! Now the producers of that show want to come and look at this here thread - they'd get some ideas and at last make something decent out of it, instead of the bovine 'chewing gum for the eyes' material they're using now!
