That's sickening, I'd have thought that the BFI would be much more supportive than that. My thoughts exactly. Sickening. Is this kind of behaviour discouraging to new film makers? As with others here, I would buy the DVD if it's ever released. Shane Meadows did make an interesting point at the Five Day Feature talk in Edinburgh, when answering a question about internet downloads vs DVDs or CDs, that fans of a music act or film director or particular film would be prepared to shell out for a beautifully packaged edition of an album or film even if it's for a tidy sum. I certaintly would!

I certaintly would! Yes... I would cough up for a DVD. Been waiting long enough! ;D Extra features for Smalltime would be something very interesting indeed! LoveFilm isn't really free though, so I guess it's not being given away for absolutely nowt really.... not that Shane is seeing any of the cash whatever is going on. Yes, there's the join LoveFilm for free and then ditch it before your trial period expires, but LoveFilm is actually quite good, and loads of people do remain members. Loads of us on here already are.

Indeed - I never got the download because I thought the quality would be poor, there wouldn't be any extras, and how can a download be bundled into the arms / bags / minds of friends who need a good dosage of Meadows in their lives?
