i am gutted, love everything Gavin has ever done. Bit of a strange one, why would he retire so young? Is the living room doc still going to be seen? I am dying to see it. Does Gavin not want people to see the film?

Hi All
I thought I better nip this in the bud. I seriously considered knocking it on the head early in 2009, I decided in the end to carry on. I'm not sure what happened but turning 40 might have had something to do with it. Anyway I will be putting out a double album this year of all the stuff that's been shelved for the last 18 months ( It's a bus thing ) It's going to be in cohorts with barnaby from Tomboy films and Shane himself. The myspace needs to be sorted out with Thribb as at the moment it doesn't come up on google search. So just to let you know I'm over myself, thanks as ever, gav.

Bloody good news to hear Gav someone with your talent cannot retire. I know we've talked before on emails over on myspace but your music has been so inspirational when I write to produce feeling in my scripts. I'd like to thank you for just making music that people seem to feel and connect with. Your music is both captivating and haunting. The cd in my car stereo is currently the sunhouse album

Good to hear, looking forward to the album. Are you planning any live dates Gav? If you are can you get up over the boarder?

As Gav says in his post, I've the honour of managing his new MySpace profile - www.myspace.com/gavinclarkmusic - visit now to listen to a few tracks some of which can be found nowhere else. You can catch Gavin from may 2010 performing with UNKLE on their forthcoming tour - www.myspace.com/unkle -

Cheers for the heads up on the tour news Thribb. Not a huge fan of Unkle though. By the way my band is on Gavin's page- The Lonesome Hearts. Thanks for putting us in the top friends. Hope you've had a listen. All the best
