I cannot believe someone thought it was Jambo lmao... Northern dialects eh... they're a real bugger. Maybe you should have wimped out and dubbed it for Southern shandy drinkers/Yanks like Loach did on Kes. In fact you should do that on the DVD anyway on a seperate audio track. And give it a completely different story like Woody Allen's 'What's Up Tiger Lily?'. BTW did you buy all that dog food yourself and did you discount the use of chubbs due to their longevity..?

Thanks for taking the time to post a reply Shane. Good luck with getting the rights back - it'd be great to see it on a DVD with loads of additional footage. Seconded. Just found this site as a result of trying to track down a copy of smalltime on this interweb superhighway thingy. Wicked film.

I reckon we should all put together some pettition (Dave?) and post shit loads of signatures and send them to polygram or whoever owns the rights and help Shane speed up the process of bringing Small time to our screens. im having the same problem getting Happy now (with Paddy in) no bugger will sort you out.

Ive had the video for ages but its at me mams somewhere. I remember paying £17 from HMV about 9 years ago, its now on amazon for £39!
Seeing as I dont have a vcr anymore, I'll join in on the 'when for the dvd' debate..
Does anyone know how easy it is to plug a VCR into a Pc and burn it on to a disc?
I need to hear the line 'what about when you were on glue, I got your fuckin glue dint I' ;D

"Does anyone know how easy it is to plug a VCR into a Pc and burn it on to a disc?" i know how, but only onto a mac. and its not cheap, or easy! Exactly, you could probably get a second hand VHS player for about £3 somewhere! Welcome to the site BoltonCalling. Love your little 'Butcher's Mix' quote. When I first watched it, and I saw that bit right at the beginning of the film, I knew I was onto a winner! "Is it Butcher's Mix or Butcher's tripe?" "It's tripe and chicken.... and Butcher's" "Oh for fuck's sake!"
