Wonder if this will turn out to be a definite release or not? Here's the listing on Play.com: www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=srmr&page=title&r=R2&title=478379For it to be released then, all the extras must be sorted already because Shane is editing between now and that release date (if indeed there are any extras). Wonder if Shane could let us know what he knows?

Friggin Hell! Someone has nicked me film off me. Who on earth is releasing this? I was aiming to buy the rights back and release it with loads of extras next autumn, seems someone has beat me to it. It's probably my evil twin 'Dwayne Breadows'. Well at least that clears a big space for the world cup.....

So Shane you have no idea who is releasing this That is terrible, is that legal? I brought a VCD of Smalltime/Where's The Money Ronnie off e-bay quite a while back but it did say that is was copied from a video. I will still be buying an official copy when it is released though. By the way I never said this at the time but I loved the self portrait on my DMS DVD!!

I bet my VHS won't be worth £20 for long then! Funny film though...love the "You're just a fucking minge" line and the whole scene in Malcolm's is great.

Some stunning dialogue in this film.... 'what does it say gwen and alf on it for? you've just crossed it out; shows how much you fucking care' - makes me blow snot out of my nose!
It was at my university library of all places to get hold of on VHS...I'd sell you my library card for a quid; but i've lost it! Other than that....jump the barrier and nick the said VHS; sorry guys.

saw this and Ronnie last night fucking brilliant!! what an unpretentious good laugh, its like the actors are barley aware theres a camera there, there was something really funny in almost every bit of dialogue but not funny in a clever way just funny in a normal banter kind of way, I really loved the feeling of just utter chaos in some parts, loved the bit where jumbo got deathgripped by the hippie and then the blonde girl goes "lets do something evil to him like shave his eye brow off" just loved how naturally that popped into her head
aside from just the funny stuff I loved the bit on the beach with the couple next door and the kids where they were walking away and one of the kids was staying put and the mum goes "bye (whatever the kids name was)" and the dad starts "bye bye -----" and the kid comes running, theres just something about those minute details that have so much honesty and humanity in them not to start getting pretentious.
my brother hopefully recorded them for me so cant wait to see them again

Small Time is one of my favourite Meadows films for many reasons. I love the dancing in it and most of all I love that end credit sequence. Simply beautiful.

Dammit, I haven't seen Shane's World in years! I've lost my second disc of Midlands. They're not gonna be on 4OD are they?
I last watched Smalltime about this time last year on Lovefilm's streaming thing. I might sign up with them again, is it still on there?

This may seem a silly queston, I havent looked into it enough myself but why were they wearing wigs in the film? I saw it the other night and couldn't see the logic. Was it just for comedy effect?
