Once my new film is in the can (late october) I plan to kick some london ass and try to get a dvd version of smalltime out next summer.
My dream is to put out a double disc version with the original 90 minute cut alongside the 60 minute cut, get the original cast members back together for a commentary and go back over all the original tapes to find some lost scenes , bloopers etc.
Another option would be to put the 10 short films that led up to me making smalltime in there as well, but that may push the price over the £20 mark and create the need for a third disk.
I haven't seen smalltime for over 6 years myself and plan to find a vhs copy tonight and watch it.

Sounds great.
I have no idea about the technical capabilities of DVDs, but can't one disc house both the 60 minute and 90 minute versions? I know that most things seem to be on dual layer discs now (or something like that). They seem to be able to fit films that are over 3 hours in length on a single disc.
Getting the cast back together for a commentary would be great fun I would imagine. Perhaps with them all reunited, you could all make a short documentary of you all revisiting locations from the film.
I'm sure most people here would be willing to cough up twenty notes for such a release, but of course, I would imagine it's a tough call to also try and attract newcomers to the film by keeping the price down.

How about the 90 min version plus bloopers etc on disc 1 and the 60 min version plus short films on disc 2? Or do it the way Dave suggested.
I haven't seen Smalltime for years - looking forward to the DVD.

It would be great to see Small Time again. It was floating around the Wolverhampton area a while ago on a dodgy VHS copy that I think someone had taped off the telly. Virtually everyone involved in short films in Wolves got that same copy of the tape and watched it again and again.

Bring on the Bloopers. They are always good. I have a copy of Smalltime on disc. I got it from E-Bay. It is just in a plastic sleave so it isn't official. But I still brought it. Good quality though so I was happy! ;D

I wouldnt mind having 'open wallet surgery' for a two/three disc edition of smalltime. I own it on VHS which also has 'wheres the money ronney' before smalltime. I watch WTMR all the time and its really starting to piss me off having to rewind the bastard all the time - Bring on the DVD.
YOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUTTTTTHHHHH!!!!!!!
