Blimey .. I'm quite privileged to hold a rare copy of this "Shane's words, not mine) which he signed for me in Nottingham. Though, not for a million pounds would I let this leave my hands.

I think "Jumbo" was such a good character that you should do a "smalltime 2" or maybe "medium time" by this time jumbo would have no doubt tried his hand at making porn like "Harry pothead and his merry band of crack whores" or "sexual ealing" set in the west london suburb to the soundtrack of marvin gaye.

or jumbo could be doing a game show called extra idle/idol where the winner is named the most bone idle person in the country. No doubt this will be won by some teenager with eleventy million Asbos' and insufficient energy to even lift an eyelash.

I saw Jumbo recently. The girl asked him in for coffee - he loved her almost instantly. Apparantly he got the sack from the porn industry because after com*ng in the girl's mouth he said "Would you like a flake with that madam ?" . Luckily he's in touch with his feminine side which means that he can avoid all that catholic guilt by f**cking himself rather than masturbating.

Last I saw Jumbo was working at Royces in Derby at one of the spare parts warehouses when I moved on in 2001.
I did see him on his BMX around one of Derby's red light districts a few months after...

...i lived in sneinton for about a year before gettin' all posh and movin' to sherwood...
...moved back to my hometown of wrexham and found a copy of small time (including 'where's the money ronnie') on video for 99p in my local record shop...get some...
...shane you are the man...skills blood...really enjoyed your talk and short films at 'shanes shorts' at the broadway a few years back...you'd been plied with quite a bit of mulled wine...

I didn't even know about Smalltime until I joined this site. I always thought that 24/7 was Shane's first feature. Anyway, suffice to say I want to see it now dammit, NOW!!!

Thought i'd finally register to show my interest in this film. Saw it many years ago on TV and loved it. I've been watching these forums over the last couple of years in the hope that i'd be able to get a copy on DVD. Seriously, somebody needs to 'ave a word!
