I can honestly say LE DONK & SCOR-ZAY-ZEE is the funniest film I’ve seen in years. I was laughing out loud in the cinema like a giggly little girl. Superb.
If you haven’t seen it, go see it!
And if Shane or Paddy or Mark or the lump with a head are reading this, well done. Absolutely wonderful.

For some reason I find that the amount of curry that Le Donk's lodger must have dropped down himself absolutely hilarious. What was he eating with!? A shovel?? ;D That curry stain simply wasn't done justice when it was in black and white in the early trailer!
Oh, I didn't notice the first time, but after Donk tells him to get dressed, the next cut features the lodger with trousers on, but still the amazing curried t-shirt.
It's interesting at the end to see that when they go on stage, and we cut to the cameras used at the event, the drop in quality is really noticeable. I guess those stage cameras, despite being big TV studio style beasts, were only shooting in standard definition?

Yeah I noticed that too dave! Maybe because the cameras only usually go to the huge LCD screens so they don't have to be that high Res? Or maybe they just didn't provide shane with the raw footage?
I'd expect the cameras used at these gigs to be better than z1's

I thought the 'fuzzy' footage was intentional - i.e. it gave a realistic feel to the big performance? I thought it worked really well and didn't pick up that it was a fault as such?
O yeah the curry stains - superb!

The missus and I saw it at the Soho Q&A showing last night. It was brilliant watching it with other people and hearing different sections of the crowd laughing at very different things., it actually made me see more comedy in parts I never laughed at previously.
There was a woman next to me who laughed solidly through the first 25 mins at everything and then didn't make a sound thereafter. i think she actually physically recoiled away from the screen when ***Spoiler*** during the credits Donk re-enacted having sex with a hermaphrodite and giving him/her/it the reach around....She was clapping her ass off at the end though!
I saw a one star review by the independant today, having seen the film for myself on the big screen i can only assume that the reviewer was either retarded or just didn't actually watch it. I may be biased towards the film but this is by no means a one star film in a million years. Time will prove this to be a more important or influential film than maybe any of us are even aware of yet.
Loved it. I'm praying for a follow up now. No amount of Le Donk is ever enough. Maybe a follow up TV doc following his rise in the Nottingham gonzo porn industry? with the making of 'Cock Hardile Dundee'
Nice to meet Shane again and managed to have a few words with Scorzilla and Donk aswell. Donk seemed OK to me, although he did keep calling me Pube head! Bill/Chrome those credits are superb. Would have been nice to sit furter back to take it all in.

I'm kind of with this woman on the end credits sequence. I thought that bit did work for the character because Le Donk is obviously giving it large in front of genuine rock stars, but the tone and content felt like a different film to me. I found it vaguely amusing Le Donk trying to impress the Monkeys with his rock life-style anecdotes, but didn't actually find the anecdotes themselves all that funny.
