I've always been a massive fan of Shane's films. Right back when ''Show me the Money Ronnie'' and ''Small Time'' were just two short films made by Nottingham based director Mr Shane Meadows.
Not only is he truly a better director than tarentino, but he has introduced me to the finest music I have ever heard.
I being a fan of Olde English rock ala Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, The Pink Floyd etc etc I found that Shane must of been party to the greatest EVER band.
Big Arty Band, Sunhouse, Clayhill. The greatest singer band ever!!!
The music on ''Where's the Money Ronnie'' and ''Small Time'' is among the best ever songs recorded in music history. And i should know ... I have Pink Floyd tatooed onto my bicep. But I honestly like those tunes more.
Okay so big a fan of it was I that I missed the ''Small time Sessions'' Album. I missed the whole concept of who the band was and what they were going to do in the future.
Not knowing that they'd change their names several times before i'd ever hear of them again. Big Arty Band ... Sunhouse ... Clayhill.
And so i was lucky enough to purchase the Sunhouse Album ''Crazy On The Weekend'' and was lucky enough this Christmas to get a Sunhouse ''Crazy On The Weekend'' Promo Album Poster, but can anyone help me with the Meadows sessions ? please!!!!
They are the greatest band ever, and yet i know before you all reply tlling me that only Gavin ha gone onto all the above, but maybe that is all that matters to me.
I have he following albums ...
Crazy On the Weekend ...
Clayhill - Cuban Green E.P
Clayhill ... Acoustic (best Album ever recorded EVER.)
Clayhill Album who's name I can't recall right now but has Northern Soul on it.
And also the latest release ''All I ever wanted'' (I think it's called??) and so wait with baited breath for more.
I happen to think that Shane Meadow's is the best ever director, and that ''Dead mans Shoes'' is the greatest film ever made.
Great work. And Kudos.
All the best.
