For anybody thinking of buying Smalltime on VHS, it's worth checking out Amazon.com (US). Last time I looked, you could pick it up (inc p&p) for about £15.00

You might be right, though I'm pretty sure I've order from them in the past. I suppose it's worth a try before forking out £30 plus p&p. I'm also tempted....there hasn't been an update on the DVD for a while now.

£29.99?
What a rip!
Everything I sell on eBay I always start at 99p and hope for the best - had some blinding results too!
Hmm... I reckon this'll not go and the seller will try again and auction it... I could be wrong though.
I'll put it in my 'watch' list.

well the copy on amazon.co.uk sold for £48 second hand. Unbelievable really. One day someone is going to be the sucker to buy the VHs copy for a similar extortionate price and then hear that the DVD is confirmed straight afterwards.

Aye... and I bet 'Play' will be doing it £11.99 for a 'double disc' too to REALLY rub things in! N.

Update: the thing didn't sell - are you surprised? I made an offer for it to the seller for less - he declined. Ah well. If ye here of any more going/info on the upcoming DVD release - please let me know. N.

Update - he's put it back on eBay again - same price.
If it was £20, I reckon I'd've bought it... but not at £30 - not for VHS!
Hope it comes out on DVD soon - if this were NEVER to happen, then I would fork out the £30 though.

Paul Glad I could help....thing is, I've been holding out for this here elusive DVD and I'll be gutted if it doesn't materialise. I don't think the VHS version's to be had in the UK now and I suspect you've just nabbed the last US bargain. Oh well......enjoy Thribb! I can't wait to see Smalltime again

Psst - there are 2 more available on the U.S. site - I had a look.
Unfortunately, my machine is PAL only... other one we had would play NTSC/U.S. vids... pity, as it's no use me getting one from the U.S.
Ah well.
