So are Dundee biscuits really made in Uttoxeter then or what? And another thing: When Fagash and Darcy come out of the court room and there's the three lawyers talking about the shoe. Was there a reason behind that that I've missed?
It's the little things that bug me.

No idea about the Dundee biscuits, but the bit with the shoe, and whether you have missed something.... yes you have, and that's the point!
As far as I'm concerned, the discussion about the shoe is just a bit of fun derived from the idea of over-hearing only half a conversation. Plus, the idea that a shoe would aid their case.... I mean, what kind of case can that be? Ha ha.... I'm sure that bit is simply there to amuse and is not slyly connected to some other occurence in the film. Could be wrong though.
