ending *SPOILERS* (obviously)

At the end of the film Tim states he is going to Cornwall with his mum and invites Darcy's Aunt to come along. The last shot however is of Tim going over to his dad and leaving the church with him. Any ideas on this? Is Tim leaving the area for good and he's simply saying goodbye to his dad?
