Sounds like Charlie Brooker watched This Is England for the first time last night. He mentioned it on Twitter. "Everyone in this is incredible (This Is England)"
He also mentioned he's seen episode one of This Is England '86 and remarked simply; "Brilliant"
Hope he does a review in the Guardian.

Oh dear, I hope Shane/Harper isn't 'doing a Kubrick'-there was a lot of tension and pathos in that 'I chose the wrong crisps bringer' scene

Telegrah article by Marc Lee on why he loves Shane Meadows. Not sure who Marc Lee is. www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-blog/7991714/Why-I-Love-Shane-Meadows.html**THIS IS ENGLAND '86 SPOILER** From that article: "Tuesday's episode was a lot funnier than the film .... the wedding of two of the gang members descended hilariously into mayhem." What's he on about? Descended into hilarious mayhem? Oh yeah, really hilarious that!
