I'm always sending people vids and saying skip to so and so and look at this shot and stuff like that No I tried it with YouTube and no joy. Weirdly, it just ignored it and started playing the clip from the beginning again rather than dishing out an error code. Interview with Mr Meadows. www.metro.co.uk/tv/844030-shane-meadows-this-is-england-is-based-on-people-i-know

This happened last time!!!
Here we are:
This is England to return set in 1990 9 December, 2010 | By Balihar Khalsa This Is England is to return to Channel 4 in a series that will follow the main characters - Shaun, Woody, Lol and Milky - four years later in a snapshot of the 1990s. C4 head of drama Camilla Campbell has greenlit the series, which has an unconfirmed TX date.
“This Is England will be returning to C4,” she said. “It is a continuation of the same characters four years on, looking at rave culture and the World Cup. Shane [Meadows, writer and director] is brimming with ideas and we are really excited.”
The number of episodes for This Is England ‘90 has not been confirmed and it has been mooted that Meadows could push the show forward through time over a number of series, so it ultimately comprises around a dozen episodes.
This Is England ‘86 comprised four episodes and averaged 2.9 million viewers (15.5%). Its top-performing episode was the channel’s third highest-rated drama in 2010.
C4’s 2011 drama line-up will include Peter Kosminsky’s The Promise, Ronan Bennett’s Top Boy, Daybreak Pictures’ Naked Apes and Company Pictures’ Beaver Falls.
Editing: Ah! You figured it out anyway. Yeah, I didn't think I'd heard about it being commissioned before. I like the idea of there being a dozen eps too. ;D

Excellent news! I heard last week it was happening (or that the commissioning funds were there for the taking, at least), but wasn't sure how reliable the info was. Can't wait to see it!

I've never seen anything to dissuade me from the belief that Metro just seems to be full of stuff copied from the internet the day before. Need to do a total bullshit story on the front page one day and then watch the 'news' spread.
