Saying hi & introducing myself cos I'm new here I'm a massive Meadows fan, as I'm sure almost everyone here is. When I was getting into the skinhead scene I watched This Is England (I'm not very original) and was hooked, his work is fantastic. I'd probably say A Room For Romeo Brass is my favourite. As for myself, I adore music, I'm a bit of a nerd and I'm one of the many lucky people in England looking for a job. I don't want to bombard you all with facts about myself so I'll leave it there. Come & say hi

I think the "vinyl" bit in your name gives the music lover bit away .. *grin* Welcome to the forum ... you have so much reading to do ! It's a friendly place so pull up a chair, grab a beer, put some music on the decks, and settle in! Saffy

Just a tad, yeh This forum is a lot more lively than I thought it would be, which is awesome. I look forward to catching up on everything! I love your avatar by the way; Pete McKee is a great artist.

I LOVE Pete McKee's work too. Never really been an "art" fan .. ok, I've looked at pictures and thought .. "OOh, lovely!" but nothing has ever quite "got" me, like his work.
Went to the opening of his gallery in Sheffield .. that was a hoot. There was a "DJ" in the garden at the back playing old 78's using two gramaphones that he had to keep winding up. The buffet was nearly as good as the TIE86 one in Sheffield ... Por Pie, Henderson's Relish (not as good as Lea and Perrins but I didn't dare say that in front of the Sheffield lot) ...pickled onions and pork scratchings!
Want to see his new exhibition as soon as I am able to get over.
