Hi all
In the booklet that comes with my dvd copy of This is England it shows some pictures (obviously deleted scenes) of Harvey with a bloody face obviously having been given a good slap, this wasn't in the film so I wonder whats the story between the film and TIE86? Can anyone shed any light?
Cheers Moley

he takes the piss out of tomo's dad in the playground and they end up having a fight,
the scene in the film after that (i think) is Tommo sitting outside the headmasters hearing someone getting the cane so maybe that scene was a little longer at the front and harvey waited outside the headmasters before going in and getting cained aswell?

Sorry I meant the soundtrack cd not the dvd, the picture shows Woody holding him be the collar as though he's beaten him up.

I think there was originally going to be a scene where Harvey started bullying Shaun outside a chip shop and Woody and the others came and defended him? But it didn't feel right and so it was cut and we went straight to hunting instead.

The scene that your reffering to was great, and helped assist Shauns progress into the gang.
Basically, Mike spots Tomo in a chip shop and decides to go for some afters as a result of the headmasters scene. He knocks his chips out his hand and gets him in a head-lock, only to be met by Joe's Dock Martin on the volley.. Blood spewing, He drags him back in the chip shop and makes him buy Tomo's dinner back. Woody hates Bullies and all that malark.
The reason it didn't make the cut was a real shame. Some tWats (with a capital 'W') just ruined the whole thing by blasting out some Drum&Base tune from the windows of the near-by flats. Fortunatly, The film still works wonders without this scene..

Where would it have been in the film, Kezz? Did it come before the hunting scene or after?

After the Under-pass - before Hunting.

I wonder if there's any hope that it could appear on YouTube provided by Mr Shane Meadows or as an extra scene sometime. It'd be lovely to see.
