hi guys, a newbie here. Only just recently been getting in Meadows' films, but i'm loving what i'm seeing. My favourite is deffo This Is England, followed by Dead Mans Shoes. I love the fact that Shane dosen't shy away from anything, whatever it may be. I wish more directors had the balls to do that as life dosen't shy away, making the film seem more 'real'.
I also love the comedy aspects of Shane's films. Especially the line in This Is England, ''I've seen a pair of tits, but i didn't suck 'em''. Funny stuff lol.
Shane, if your reading this, have you ever thought of making a fully blown horror film? Dead Mans shoes was bordering on horror and was excellent. My fave scene of the entire movie was probably the 'body in the suitcase' scene. Fucked up lol. Going on the rest of the movie, i reckon if you were to make a horror film, it would be something special.
