Cannot stop thinking about the series and how it will end, im sure its all been said before on here...
What I want to know is are there any pics of Trudy's son dressed as Dogtanian? I personally haven't laughed as hard for a long time seeing him standing like a lossed dog on the battlefield.
"Can I go as Dogtanian?" Probably the quote of the series so far, for me.
PS - I've just realised i've asked for pictures of a young boy dressed as Dogtanian, I'm not a pervert honest.

Winston as Dogtanian was wonderfully surreal. Great costume. Trude obviously has too much time on her hands...

Dogtanian was ok but not as good as Jace and the wheeled warriors Bollocks - Dogtanion was way better, mate! And it had a theme tune written by Guido and Maurizio de Angelis, the Italian brothers that, besides writing countless scores for films, wrote and performed (as Oliver Onions) those "so bad they're great" songs from the some of the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill film. I think Shane's a bit of a fan - doesn't he have/used to have lyrics from the Dogtanion theme tune as part of his signature on here?

Got to agree with Companero Dogtanian was class.
Any childrens cartoon that has the theme tune lyrics of "They drink a beer and swear they're faithful to their king" wins it for me. Can you imagine the moral outcry if a cartoon used those lines now? It would be condemned for encouraging alcoholism in toddlers and probably encouraging Racism and Sexism.
Jace and The Wheel Warriors was good though. I liked both because unusually for childrens cartoons there wasn't a happy ending at the end of each episode.

Don't remember Jace and the Wheeled Warriors at all!
Dogtanian is a part of my being for some reason. Loved it. A lot was down to that fantastic theme tune.
It was drawn like it was aimed at five year olds but it had quite complex plotting and story arcs. I wouldn't want to watch it again though. It ruin my nostalgic memories of it.
I went to a fancy dress party once with two friends as the Muskahounds. We told people we'd eaten Dogtanian when asked where he was. Such fun! ;D

I think I used to wake up about 6am and watch all the cartoons that were on until I went to school. I've forgotten loads of them I bet, but Dogtanian and the Muskerhounds was one of my favourites. The film The Three Amigos came out around the same time and I remember being excited thinking there was some kind of connection between that and the Dogtanian cartoon, probably because they were all in big hats. I was about five. Others that I watched as a kid that I can remember: Around the World with Willy FogSpartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea (I still love this intro)The World of David the GnomeNostalgia! I'd love to see old TV schedules from about 1988-1992 to see what the morning lineups were. After that it was all Rugrats and Nickelodeon and that, and I don't remember that stuff as fondly.

Some great memories amongst those clips. May I add DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS. Another show from around '86 I loved was the amazing JOSSY'S GIANTS. A memorable theme tune aswell.
