Hi I'm an A2 film studies student and I'm doing a research project on Shane Meadows and how he portrays family and relationships in the films 'A Room for Romeo Brass', 'This is England' and 'Dead Man's Shoes' for the project I have to do micro and macro analyses which is all fine but I also need to find articles on the subject which is proving to be quite difficult So I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or helpful tips on the subject.

Hi Minisheep,
If you look in the Education and Study section, you'll find a bibliography on Shane's Meadows that is in the process of construction, but which contains most of the sources that are out there. Good luck

just looked up what micro and macro analysis meant, so does micro mean you'll be looking at each relationship and macro mean you'll be looking at all the relationships in general?
I'd maybe be a bit more specific if I was you and write about father figures in those three films
