When i first watched 'room for romeo' i really did laugh so much, but also cried at the dark side of it all. Did others have similar emotions while watching it? Morells dancing..... class.

Sure is amazing dance moves from Paddy.
Its strange because u kind of feel sorry for Morrell then u dislike him when he pulls the blade on knock knock, then u feel sorry for him again when he has the heart to heart with Romeo about his dad and then u dislike him again when he beats the dude up and hits Knock Knocks dad.
It is one of my all time favourite films I have seen it about 30 times, I always try and introduce new people too it and so far everyone has loved it.

I have to confess the exact same feeling for the film, it has me in fits of laughter and in tears. I also lend it to people who haven't seen it, or even watch it with them. I've think I've seen it about 6/7 times now, the one part that does make me feel sad is when romeo goes to morrells flat and you just get a glimpse of morrells dead dads oxygen tank at the side of the double bed, and morrell shuts the door quickly and proceeds to try and gain some male/ego/control over romeo by hurting him and trying to make him 'hard' like own dad must have done to morrell. top top top movie. i love it.

"Oh Ladene, Oh please Ladene" another real funny part when Morrell comes into the room in his pants and flashy dressing gown lol.
One bit, two beat, three beat, sugabeat, four beat, five beat, six beat, wheatabit, seven beat, eight beat, nine beat, Heartbeat, my heartbeat, my heart is beatin for you. Lol classic lines.
Yep that does make u feel sad when u see Morrells dads oxygen tank and he says "I never stopped trying for my dad" it was sad when he said how he had his head beaten on everywall in the house.
I can only dream of one day making a a film half as good as this.

Hey Bozamong,
Lol cool thanks for having a look its good to know people are watching them, um na she is supposed to be having the baby lol, that whole film was just improvised well the dialogue anyway. Sadly my cousin is an ex heroin addict and when he sawthat film he couldnt get over how well we had filmed that scene, he is clean now but it shows how heroin can ruin a life just looking at him.
Good luck with whatever you are revising for, are u gonna be in this is England?

Lol, ok smell......:-) Yep its an accoustic version that I found on the net, I really shouldnt be using Coldplay music but i just think it fits with the film so well I couldnt take it out when i uploaded it.
Luckily my uncle and his band are gonna do the music for my new films I am gonna do for this years small film festivals so they will be copyright free.
How did u get into being cast for this is England? Had u been in anything before film or TV?

HAHA yeh a couple of kids televison programmes i.e,DANGERVILLE haha get that! gotta start some where.Im in a drama group called itv worshops,Vicky, n shimmy started out there (room for romeo brass) n chanel n danilelle n soph in the gang of this is england are too,Also the guy who plays antony in DMS,so its quite a big network of young actors and actress's.Apart from television work ive done quite a few plays,i'm more used to theatre than film or television, but filming this is england really opened up my eyes into the world of film making ,Its quite tricky at times having to say relativley the same thing in each take when there like 30 takes, but i Fucking with a capital F loved the whole experiance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol at least it wasnt biker grove man.
Excellent, yeah i can imagine what a masive experience it must have been and great to work with someone like Shane in your first film, it sounds like this is England has more charecters then the usual Shane Meadows films as room for romeo brass was done with about 8 major charecters and DMS with about 9 but looking at the pics for this is England and photos from the shoot there looks like quite a few of you.
Yeah that must be frustrating when you have to keep doing takes over and over again but more than worth it.
