Here's some great news... Mr Gavin Clark has given me his official seal of approval for people to send copies of "If This Is Love" to each other. Now you can all feel slightly less shady about it! haha
Gavin has also said that I can make it available for download as part of the website itself, so, I was just wondering what quality everyone has it at? I'm looking for an MP3 file at 192kbps bit-rate to make available as a free download if anyone has that.

Hey folks..
I have the MP3 - top quality too - ripped at 192kbps but can be 320 if required.
The "Director's Diary" on the Romeo Brass DVD features the song in it's entirety as a backdrop with no other audio. I've used an audio extractor on my Mac to rip the audio out - so presuming the orignal was recorded onto the DVD at CD quality, it can be extracted at the same bitrate - as an AIFF or WAV - and then converted to MP3. I have it on my iTunes and it sounds perfect.
If anyone wants me to email the mp3 over post here.

Welcome to the site Huwj. I have put a 160kbps version up for download on the front page of the site and it sounds great. Thanks for the offer (and I know I originally asked for 192kbps... but I have to think of my limited webspace for the site!). I forgot all about that director's diary bit on the DVD featuring the whole track. What a chump!
Oh yeah.... I'm just about to upload a different version of the track to the site too. Gavin Clark very kindly donated it. This other version has a strummed guitar backing rather than finger plucking.
Apparently the original version in A Room For Romeo Brass was a strummed version! I can't remember that.... shows what a fan I am! ;D

''If This Is Love'' is kindly permitted to be downloaded from Gavin's Myspace profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=61472638There are only so many songs in the world that can bring you to tears, in good or bad situations. And Gavin and the band (present and past) have brought me so much joy listening to their material and the waits between the new gems etc, and so it must all be worth it. Surely ?? Many thanks !!!
