I went to ATP's Nightmare Before Christmas a couple of years back and they were showing a documentary on ATP TV all about Donk. Really enlightening. Some indie kid goes to the north west to find out what it's all about. I shall try to find out a bit more about it. I think the indie kid was an NME journo.
