Hey, have you seen the deleted scenes on the This Is England 86 DVD? Shane's latest acting role ended up on the cutting room floor. It's a good scene too!

Hi Dave
Due to being a student and being a Stokey, I find myself very very broke, but I do plan on investing into the box set before summer kicks in ...and you have given me more reason to be excited about it!
I was watching 'Once upon a time...' the other night and I noticed Shane made a cameo in that!! ...get on it Shane, stuff the Brad Pitt an all that!! He couldn't call out numbers like you do!

Isn't he the bingo caller in Once upon a time in the midlands too? With a daft purple wig on or something?

He's also working in the chippy in A Room For Romeo Brass. There's a little photo on the Romeo Brass page: shanemeadows-co-uk.nottsbox.com/romeo.htmShane was also cut out of This Is England. He was a drug dealer in a tracksuit. He was Milky's supplier. That's on the deleted scenes on the This Is England DVD Oh, and don't forget Shane's role as "Man With Saucepan on Head" in Twentyfour Seven! ;D

If there's no objection, it could be linked on the shorts page maybe?

Shane's performance is what makes Small Time worth watching for me, he's head plus Wig and above the best thing in it. Along with the Music and the scenes on the beach which show Shane's talents for those quiet moments. I recently got this on DVD, I like it a lot as a film I still think it has a lot of flaws in it but you can see Shane's talent shine through.

Hey scheeevrs.... when Smalltime was released on DVD there was an issue where two or three moments had brief dropped frame in the footage. The image would stutter ever so briefy, but it was annoyingly noticeable. Wondering if the DVD still has this issue.... I know for certain that one of the points it occured in is when they're all coming back from the carboot sale with the kids crying and Jumbo angrily swinging his suitcase full of bogroll about. haha
