Hi this is my first post on here but i have been reading for a year or more now. I know peoples views on first posters posting links to things, but i wanted to draw peoples attention to the following play that i saw last week in London. I know that shane frequents this forum or did andi hope he might have some contacts that might help this guy out, but basically i went to see a play called our style is Legendary. It was a play written by Nottingham born actor writer and teacher Daniel Hoffman-gill, Our Style is Legendary is a dark comedy about growing up in 1980's Nottingham and finding a friend you'd die for but you just end up killing each other slowly. A story about a coming-of-age friendship that is hewn from the reality of the estate, the waste grounds, the car parks, the boarded up shops and empty community centres: sparse but passionate, funny but cruel. A story of boys becoming young men and struggling to escape the background they’re born into: railing against the poverty and the emptiness around them and turning to each other. I am basically trying to get this play out there and shown in Nottingham it would be amazing to get this play back where it should be. I would be greatful if anyone would have a look at some of the reviews found on the net about this play and also have a look at Dans page on this play. As i said i realise how people feel about people doing this on forums but i would be gratful if people could just have a look and i chat about this play. / ourstyleislegendary.blogspot.com

I feel a bit responsible for this first posters 'prohibition' It's not plugging per se, Littled-its piggy backing solely to plug stuff that has no connection to the forum in any shape or form, not contributing to any other thread and then disappearing forever-spamming essentially. That cheeses off me (and others) I think. This looks interesting-I'll have a look later
