Dear Sir ,
This is greeting from Chao Niu. I¡¯m a film student of Beijing Film Academy, major in Director. I¡¯m working on my graduation project¡ªa 35mm short film which physical production has already been done. As a fan of your production in 2008--Somers Town, I¡¯m wondering that if I can use your soundtracks in my work.
I tried to ask my composer to compose some music in terms of the atmosphere and feelings that OST in Somers Town presented. Therefore, after so many efforts we have made, I found there is no music that can match my film so well as the music in Somer Town.
I hope you can understand all the efforts and strength I¡¯ve put on this project, that I really don¡¯t want the music become a regretful part in the entire film. As a student project, I won¡¯t do any commercial usage for those soundtracks except some competitions and film festivals, and I promise that I definitely will do the reference in the end subtitles.
So would you let me know that is there any possibility that I can get the approval of the usage of soundtracks in my film. My E-mail is niucha0@yahoo.cn and Im looking forward your response.
