Hey everybody!
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Andy Gallagher and I'm an actor. My first ever role was when I was a young child and I played a small part in the Martin Scorsese film Gangs Of New York. Since then I have made sporadic appearances in Irish short films and television.
Most notably, I played the role of Ben in the short film entitled "The Pool" by up and coming director Thomas Hefferon. The Pool was shown at a number of festivals worldwide including New York's Tribeca Film Festival.
Aside from acting, I would very much like to write and direct in the future. I am currently working on a couple of writing projects including a 6 part comedy series which I am writing with my friend Mark and a spoof documentary which I am now in the process of researching. I will no doubt be asking you all for advice and opinions in time to come
Oh yeah, I'm also a HUGE Shane Meadows fan!
