This is England 86 DVD fault?

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to check and see if anyone has had any problems with their DVD for This is England 86?

I'm gutted. I bought the disc at Sainsburys about a month ago and have only just got round to watching it, so I opened it up today and the first disc has scratches all over it, worst I've ever seen on a DVD.

I stupidly didn't keep the receipt so I don't know if I'll be able to get a replacement. Does anyone know who I can contact about this and has anyone else had the same problem?

Mine's OK. You probably got a 'Friday afternoon' copy. Sainsbury's might replace it without the receipt if you paid for it with a debit/credit card-it's worth a try anyway.

Thanks for the reply . I've contacted Sainsburys via email but they say they won't get back to me for a couple of days. Hopefully they'll be able to sort out a replacement, like you say, because I bought it on debit card.

Fingers crossed, otherwise I guess I'll just have to get another copy and remember to check my DVDs sooner and always keep reciepts (which I do about 98% of the time). grrr

A member of the cast (who shall remain nameless) just told me he would buy another one, take that disk out and put the bad one back in that case, then take it back with your much more recent receipt.
