Hey Guys, I was lucky enough to get hold of the Glidecam HD1000 for a day. Its a fantastic piece of kit and I recommend it to any DSLR users. I made a short chase film showing the kit in all its glory. Let me know what you think

you did well considering you only had a day with it, you should play with smoothcam in fcp aswell
Vinnie Minton who was a pro skater when I was growing up does some amazing stuff with the glidecam
I've got a couple of things I've shot on glidecam but my works in a bit of a mess right now I'll post up when it's sorted

That looks pretty amazing.
So how much does that seemingly small bit of kit set you back if you pay up for one?

They have a few versions for different weight classes.
The glidecam HD1000 costs around £350 including VAT.
Then of course theres the camera and lens which is around £600.
It's all incredibly cheap in terms of film-making equipment
