I really like Todd Solondz's Welcome to the Dollshouse and Happiness, although I am never quite sure whether I should publically admit to liking the latter (discussion thread title on imdb, 'If you enjoyed this movie you are a sick, demented, despicable freak.' ) There's something really raw and honest about Welcome to the Dollshouse-even though the main character is a girl, I got the feeling that it was autobiographical and admired his brutal honesty and willingness to expose himself like that. Happiness made me laugh out loud quite a few times-even as the 'exposing' aspect of this made me winch painfully ;D Very dark; very funny. Not so keen on his other stuff, although Life During Wartime is quite good. Feature's Shirley-OUTIM-Henderson and Michael-Omar-Williams.
