Poor Lol.  I'm even more worried about Woody now though. Just because I noticed a certain tattoo that does not belong to Joe Gilgun. One that must have been added for a reason. Worried about just how badly Woody might have reacted to certain things. I only hope it ends well. |

The trailer looks great. Again-as with TiE 86-it's good to see the story built around a female character (at least it seems so). Looks like Lol's character is going to interesting places and Vicky will do a superb job taking her there, I'm sure. I'm really excited to see this now!!

I meant the swastika tattoo. That isn't Joe's because he didn't have it after this was filmed (including pick ups). There's a couple of others that look added too, but not sure what they are. I'm guessing this must mean Woody is on a much darker path than I ever expected. Thinking of what Woody was in the first film. The first clip is also up now and it's a Woody one. Not sure what to make of it, but I think he's losing the plot. www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a353841/this-is-england-88-watch-a-clip-video.html I get the feeling that this series will be more bleakly poignant than harrowing. The scene with Lol and Combo looks very touching. Also, I could be way off base, but I wondered if Milky has been out of town for a while and doesn't realise how much things have fallen apart? |

Milky has indeed been on travels since the events of TIE '86. So says some of the episode summaries that C4 have posted (of which I've only taken a small glance at-quite spoilerish)
