I am a big Shane Meadows fan, therefor I am happy to share my film with other Shane Meadows followers. I sincerely hope you enjoy! Watch War Music on Vimeo: Synopsis: "Row after row of white marble headstones. Beaches that were stormed by Allied troops during World War II. A young Canadian with only his acoustic guitar and his camera. War Music documents 22-year-old singer / song-writer David Porteous' solo journey across Europe as he writes and records music inspired by the people he meets and the places he visits. David's journey is one to understand the war from the perspective of those most affected by it - the soldiers who survived, the civilians who still live with the war, and a younger generation who struggles to find a new identity. David's powerful, emotive music provides a soundtrack that draws us deep into an often glamorized time in human history and gives us an incredibly honest look at how World War II continues to affect us." www.warmusic.caPress: War Music has been featured on: - CBC Sunday - BBC The Movie Café - The Toronto Star - CBC News "...not only a talented singer/songwriter, but a talented filmmaker." - Janice Forsyth, BBC Radio "Any project of such wide scope has potential for missteps, but Porteous' earnest songs, which we literally watch him write on the battlefields of Europe, bring some urgency to events that for many of us are usually just pieces of history. And that's no small feat." - Top Film Pick of the Day, blogTO A "moving documentary film." - River Arts Festival, Dunnville "Porteous was at his best when singing about World War II." - Ron Thomson, The Shield Attachments:

Just noticed how long this film is, and I can't bring myself to sit at my computer that long.... I do want to watch it though, but I see you have disabled the ability to download the film (for sensible reasons no doubt). If I could download it, I could watch it on my PS3!
