Well, my political credentials are being sorely tested these days, i tell thee, its a good job my indifference is so highly tuned. I think 'subvert normality' was the tagline of Out of the Blue, though its been a long time since i saw the cover, a long time. You recommended that to me about a decade ago. Great film. I had it back then on US video. It comes up on BN.com for $4.99 with shipping it's about £16 though.

Okay... so here's a DVD up for grabs.. the first of the thread!
No one is going to want it, as they will already have it, or have never wanted it.
Hot Fuzz (2 disc bonanza). Still in swanky condition as I am nice to my discs! I've got the blu-ray now.
So, just testing the waters. If you have any old tat you don't want there could be a swap.

Just checking the value of some of my old DVDs on that Music Magpie site.... which is fine if you're really just wanting rid of your DVDs and don't mind pretty much giving them away for nowt. Average money value they'll give you is about 30p per DVD.... so it was a bit of surprise to find that my copy of Shaun of the Dead is worth 2.99 to those vultures (magpies)! Simply because it has the limited edition HMV sleeve (which is nicer than the general cover admittedly).
Anyway.. here's a small list of tat... anyone want any of it?
Hot Fuzz 2 Disc edition Ghoulies 1 & 2 (1 disc) TwentyFour Hour Party People (2 discs) Minority Report Matilda Steve Coogan Live - The Man Who Thinks He's It (+ Live and Lewd on same disc) Children of Men (2 disc)
Remember, you may not really want any of them.. but a quick watch and then in the bin? Why not! That's how I ended up with the Ghoulies double-bill.. (Ghoulies 1 is pure shit.... but 2 is much more fun... comparatively anyway).

I've got most of them and don't really want the others though... Maybe Matilda. Can't see myself watching it though really. I'll try make a list now...

Err and thats it! Not much of a list. I don't really have a huge collection though. Any interest?

So this never took off really did it? If you're still hankering to get rid of old DVDs for something of worth, fopp are doing a swap shop thing. Basically if you take in any old CDs, BOOKS or DVDs then you get a £1 off something new, which is actually pretty good really. I traded in a few DVDs and bought some Blu-Rays the other day, saved a fair bit of money
