I've got quite a few DVDs I'm not interested in keeping any more and these days DVDs are pretty much worth bugger all. What about a little swapping club? Not sure how it would work and how much we can trust each other, but what do people think? Some stuff I have now got on blu-ray so don't need the DVD as well, and other stuff I just don't feel like I'll be watching again any time soon. I'm just thinking something along the lines of people posting a list of no more than 10 DVDs they have up for swapping and agreed swaps are just posted to each other (maybe to a work place address if you don't want to give your home address.. and via personal message on the forum obviously). Can it work?

Swap Shop ;D Good idea. I've exchanged stuff with people on the forum before-nice way to get to see/read good stuff that would otherwise pass me by. I'm not really materialistic, but I cannot part with films or books though-perversely I even hang on to ones I don't actually like! Think I've got two copies of a few things though-will have a look and then post them up.

Youre not going to turn up and fondle me belt buckle are you Dave? Im not that sort of boy. If its not a ruse, then i think its splendid. If anyone has a DVD of Out of the Blue, the dennis hopper movie that i last saw for 90 quid on Ebay, and one of my favourite ever films, i'll be willing to trade virtually anything i own.

Collection only, will trade for a copy of Comet Quest on VHS. Also, my copy is called Into the Blue starring Paul Walker, its really good though. and you want it.

I've got one! Sorry, I really love this film too-so no chance there, I'm afraid. There is a reasonably priced region 1 option on Amazon at the moment Michael (used). The region 2 copy is £40-ouch.

O.K, I checked and as it turns out, I don't have many second copies (must have given 'em away). I do own two copies of Night Porter though: www.imdb.com/title/tt0071910/One still in cellophane (I think). Would suit Lynch fan ;D Dave reminded me that I love the Muppets (and all my muppet films are on VHS), so....if anybody fancies swapping Gonzo being contacted by his alien family via his breakfast cereal (genius) for a dark, Nazi flick let me know Open to other offers

A Turnip, Gareth? which of course, i could violently insert into the Danny Dyer orifice of choice. Its what he would have wanted. Oh Jill, foiled again. Subvert normality, eh? Hyde, you monkey. How old are you now, anyway? Do you still listen to that CD i did you? Dont get me wrong, Walkers pretty, but he's no Klaus Kinski.

Well, my political credentials are being sorely tested these days, i tell thee, its a good job my indifference is so highly tuned. I think 'subvert normality' was the tagline of Out of the Blue, though its been a long time since i saw the cover, a long time.
