Presentation about This is England at school

Hi, I'm a french student, and I'm studying cinema in Clermont Ferrand. I want to make a presentation about This is England and I was wondering if you can help me concerning the historic/social backdrop of the film, and some other piece of information which could help me realize my project. I really want to show that this film isn't another "skinhead" movie, and that it has deep meanings. Maybe you can also tell me what you have thought of the movie, and if press talked about it : the only french magazine that had made a review on it is the famous magazine "Les cahiers du cinéma" but i have not found others yet.

I'm also wondering if someone know how to contact S.Meadows by email.
