New guy. Yank. Came across This is England ironically because I stopped watching TV. Fell in love with it. Great movie and show. I grew up in Southern California and I'd guess I'm probably the same age as the character Woody. I was a punk, not a skin but still... the story resonated with me. The characters were very much like the friends I had way back in the 80s. Found the site while looking into who was involved with TIE.

So, just wanted to say 'hi.'

Bit more humor than the movie but realistic. After all, funny things happen in real life too.
