MA on Improvisation in Drama

Hello Everyone!

I'm in in the middle of finishing my MA in acting from Birmingham School of Acting and I'm writing a thesis looking at how scripts which involve improvisation in their creation seem to reflect reality in such a greater way than 'scripted' pieces.

In my research I'm looking a lot at Mike Leigh and his method but I'm also massively interested in looking at how Shane works and have had trouble thus far trying to find literary sources which look at his method, if anyone can suggest anything/avenues to go down I would be eternally grateful.
