Only recently noticed this Film4 Scene-Stealers competition going on.
People have been recreating, re-imagining, and re-interpreting scenes from Film4 films and making short videos for a competition of some kind (I've not read the small print).
Of the films put forward by Film4 for people to steal scenes from, two of them are Shane's... Dead Man's Shoes and This Is England.
There are currently a total of 10 short videos based on Shane's films and you can check them out here: scenestealers.film4.com/watch/director/shane-meadows
The This Is England one by The Brothers Lynch has a good ending.
I also liked the Dead Man's Lego one by Emily Ritchie.
