FilmWorks -Free development scheme for film-makers

I've just been notified of this scheme by my place of work and some of you may find it of interest.

Here's some blurb from their website;

Are you a filmmaker seeking to develop your practice, profile, networks and knowledge of the industry? We are looking for emerging talent in Bristol, Nottingham, Sheffield and surrounding areas to take part in a competitive and FREE ‘fast track’ development scheme.

The deadline for applications is Mon 20 Aug 2012.

We are after individuals with a strong independent vision, evidence of creative practice seeking to develop their practice, profile, networks and knowledge of the industry. Successful participants will join peer filmmakers and leading film professionals in a series of practice-oriented workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions, masterclasses and networking events for a 360 degree view of the creative, business and technical aspects of the international film industry – from development to exhibition.

I think you need to be relatively local to either Bristol, Nottingham or Sheffield.
