Hey guys, I've been gone for the summer but I'm now back with my first ever instructional video.
I discuss the glidecam and give basic tips on balancing and operating. Let me know what you think

Great video, and good to see how you go about using and preparing the Glidecam. Here comes a constructive coment... I think it would have been good to break up the video with example clips of video captured. You did start with some from your short that used it, but maybe you could have split it up a bit and show little bits throughout.

I definitely should have put some more examples in there, you're right.
Next time I will. I'm glad you liked it though, thanks

shot this on a glidecam a while ago (the shit text at the end was what the client insisted on)
another cool way to use them is more like a jib (excuse the hideous grading need to find time to redo it)
really want to give a steadycam with an arm a go sometime the glidecam kills my back

I really liked the commercial Gareth. Great use of the glidecam. I'm curious how the grading was even achieved?
