Yo!
Just a quick update on the Roses project.
It's in really good shape now. Maybe 3-4 weeks from locking the edit. Might even get time to do some Xmas shopping this year!
I think the aim will be to launch at a big festival April/May next year, have a mahoosive UK premiere, then get it into the Cinemas soon after.
I don't want to curse my poor being but I'm very happy with how things are going. Can't wait to get back on the silver screen, it's been too long!
Orvoir. X.

Thanks for the update!
It must be a relief to not have the compressed production schedule of a TV venture this time! Sounds like you have room to breath!

Looking forward to hearing more about this!
I was speaking to Richard Peregrine who taught Shane and Paddy photography and he mentioned that his brother was in Ruff Ruff and Ready, the support band for Spike Island. They were bottled off stage because half the band were black and apparantly the Roses had a somewhat racist fan base.
Maybe that could've been an interesting story for the doc but either way, thought I would share with you all.
Aaron.

I for one am very excited about this! Being Canadian I am hoping that the movie will make its way to Toronto. That being said, I would love to fly over from Toronto Canada to watch the premiere (as I did for the Heaton Park show).
Keeping an eye out for premiere dates!!
Cheers and Congrats Shane.
