Hi all, hope you're well. Was hoping to get some feedback on my latest short film 'Caught in the Headlights' shot on location in the East Midlands in Derby. The film follows Keith (Neal Higham), a taxi driver going through a midlife crisis; nothing is going right, he takes the night shifts to forget his worries and buries his issues. One particularly catastrophic night he decides to make a change and face his problems head on. We were able to run a successful crowdfunding campaign to make the film happen and took to the streets at night over 3 days to bring it to life. It's been about a year since we began pre production and since finishing the film in June we've picked up a few awards and had a few screenings. Please take a look and let us know what you think! Thanks Chris

Hi Chris. I enjoyed that. Beautifully filmed and top performances, especially from the taxi driver. Thanks for posting.

What Chromebaby said.
Shot really nicely... how did you get those subtle, slow-moving tracking shots? Was it actually a proper track set-up?

Thank you for the great feedback, much appreciated!
We had a proper track set up for two of the wider moving shots. The shot over the car bonnet used a slider. We wanted a lot of stillness, space and slower movements so this helped achieve that.
Cheers!

Hey Chris! Saw your short at the ID Fest at QUAD in Derby today. I don't know if you were there but it was well received. The audience were given voting slips and I voted for yours. Although I nearly went for The Sweatshop. I thought Color Blind was good too.
