1 day arts fest, Walsall, West Midlands

Dear All

I am organising a 1 day arts fest at a pub in Walsall, West Midlands. Great venue with three rooms and a garden. Should be June 2013. I am looking for short films for the event please and would like to hear from anyone interested. I am interested in Big Boy 74 by Tom Marshall and would like to contact him if possible.

I am interested in performance artists and also some fringe theatre stuff (short plays and short films).

Dear Shane

I know that this is a long shot. I am organising a fringe festival (arts, performance art, music, film etc) at a pub in Walsall. The White Lion, Sandwell Street, Walsall.

Part of the programme will be a little film festival of shorts. Perhaps 1pm to 4pm and also with some director question/answers sessions or interviews. I wondered if you had anything that I could show at the event and whether you may even be interested in attending yourself to discuss your films/techniques or whatnot. If this were to be the case, I could put you in touch with the interviewer (journalist student about to graduate this summer) and it could be agreed. Also, I would be looking for radio coverage.

The deadline for me programming the event is end of March which leaves me two months for marketing in Birmingham and the West Midlands. I will be taking the marketing seriously and promoting the event to people in TV, museums, higher education, film festival management and local businesses and local people.

If it is something that you think you may consider please let me know and I can provide more information.
