I am currently writing an essay regarding the social psychological underpinning concepts in 'This is England'. Although there are many important concepts within the film, I am limited to using 2 of them to relate with the film, I am having great difficulty picking which would be best to use. Any suggestions anyone??

I think you'll probably have to elaborate a bit on what you mean by social psychological underpinnings, but I think identity is the key one?

Yes social identity would be one of them as well as conformity. I am just looking someone else's perspective on what they may have picked up in the film.
