Best thing about Made of Stone

The one thing that I always thought was lacking from the Stone Roses, great as they are, was a sense of warmth or any sense of human compassion. I think what Shane Meadows has demonstrated in the film is that this does exist and the rehearsal footage is by far the most telling sequence of the film. The sheer joy shown by Reni in those moments make the band appear human in a way I'd never associated with them before. 

Wonderful job capturing that Shane.
