Made of Stone Documentary Quotations

New to the forum.  Thanks for having me.

I was wondering if anyone can pinpoint the quotations / voiceovers that are used in Made of Stone?

There is one early on and one late on.  Sounds like Hitchcock possibly one of of them.  The reason I want them is because I teach A Level Media and 'Made of Stone' is getting shoved straight in next year's course.  But we do a lot of work on documentary at this time of year.

Obviously when I next see the film or get it on DVD I will have google at the ready - but if anyone can help me sooner, that would be great.

Hey there.. welcome to the site!

The first one is definitely Hitchcock, the second one is William Burroughs I believe.
I don't know the exact sources though.

Sorry, bit of a goldfish memory here, but I think Shane said he found the Hitchcock one on youtube when searching for inspiring pieces about creativity/the creative process. He put it in as a temporary stop gap and then decided to leave it in because it fitted perfectly with the images. If you search for Hitchcock and creativity, it throws up an interview (Talk with Hitchcock). However, there's also a short piece in which Hitchcock talks about Happiness-and that also sounded familiar to me....Could be completely wrong though..going to see it again Sunday and will recognise it second time around, I think..The second piece is William Burroughs and again I am fairly sure Shane said he found it on youtube-once again when doing a word search-no idea where it's from though.
